We have a new GDT joining us for th next 2 months her name is Lilia

I am Ukrainian crafty girl living in Canada with my family for 8 years now. I have three beautiful children: two boys (9 and 2,5-year old) and a little girl (7-months-old). They are my inspiration in everything I do, especially in crafting.

My four pillars without which I can't imaging my life are my family, crafts, books and music.

I started making cards more than two years ago. Before card making I did a lot of cross-stitching (now it is a lot easier to do paper crafts with three kids, since cross-stitching needs a lot of concentration). First I was fascinated with paper embroidery and from that I moved to making cards and fell in love with stamp colouring. I don't have one favourite style, though I prefer making simple elegant cards or CAS cards most of the time. Card making is my stress relief and when I make a card I like to follow my mood, follow inspiration that comes from the paper, from the image, from the weather or music I listen. Last year I made about 350 cards and I that is a lot taking that I was working full time and had a third baby in June. I just love all the fun and pleasure that comes with creativity. Feels like I never grew up and that helps to understand my kids better. :)

Card making is not my only passion. I love books. My best kind of morning is a slow morning with a cup of hot herbal tea and a good book. I don't have those very often but when I do it is always thanks to my husband who shares this passion with me. For our first date we went to a book trade fair, and we love to go to bookstores as often as we can. Same with music. We love listening to all kinds and styles of music and go to concerts and festivals together. Crafting while listening to the music is my kind of oasis, where I can catch a breath when life gets too crazy and where I can "recharge" and go back to everyday life full of energy afterwards.
